How to install Noteshik on an Amazon Fire tablet
Fire tablets run Fire OS and ship without Google Play, so most note apps people recommend cannot be installed. Noteshik is on the Amazon Appstore, which means it installs the normal way. Two minutes, no sideloading, no developer settings.
- 1
Open the Appstore on your Fire tablet
Tap the Appstore icon on the home screen. On newer tablets it is under the Apps tab.
- 2
Search for Noteshik
Type Noteshik in the search bar and open the listing titled “Noteshik – Notes, Audio, Images, Everywhere”.
- 3
Tap Get, then Download
The app is free, so there is no purchase step. The download is about 40 MB.
- 4
Open Noteshik and create a free account
Sign up with an email address. No card is needed. Your first note and folder are created for you.
- 5
Optional: sign in on the web too
The same account works at app.noteshik.com on any computer, and that is where the Evernote import lives.
If the Get button is missing
- Older tablet. Noteshik needs Fire OS 6 or newer. Check Settings › Device Options › System Updates for your version and install any pending update.
- Wrong Amazon account. The Appstore shows apps for the account signed in on the tablet. Settings › My Account shows which one that is.
- Parental controls or a Kids profile. Apps must be added from the parent account first. Switch to the adult profile, install, then share the app to the child profile if you want.
- Still stuck? Open the listing in the tablet’s browser: amazon.com listing, then choose “Deliver to” your tablet. Or use Noteshik in the Silk browser at app.noteshik.com — no install needed.
